Do I really need an Interpreter?

Yes. Communication through oral, lip reading, and written methods are not always effective and quite often can lead to misunderstandings and possible legal liabilities.

Who is responsible for securing Interpreting services?

According to the ADA, any business offering service to the general public is required to provide communication access to the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf / Blind consumers.

Who is responsible for paying for Interpreting services?

In reference to the ADA and Public Law 504 (Rehabilitation Act of 1973) you, as a provider of services, are responsible for the payment.
